Out My Closet’s Boutique Reveal at TransCon was an incredible success, bringing together community leaders, clients, and allies for a truly unforgettable experience.

"PRIDE INSIDE" - Out My Closet's annual PRIDE POP-UP SHOP event - celebrated diversity, inclusion, and empowerment within the LGBTQ+ community! We created an event that provided an unparalleled experience of celebration and dignity for our under-resourced and unhoused LGBTQ+ clients.

We are honored to have been selected by Aritzia for their "PROUD TODAY, PRIDE FOREVER" Pride Campaign. Aritzia has been supporting us since 2023, aiding our mission to help unhoused and under-resourced youth find high-quality, gender-affirming clothing in a fun, safe, and respectful environment through generous clothing donations and volunteer hours at our POP-UP shops.

Our Queer Men's Empowerment Group - are a haven for empowerment, support, and growth. We unite to conquer challenges, celebrate our differences, and foster a thriving community together. Embracing diversity: we are multi-ethnic, multi-age, sero-discordant, multi-citizenship status, and multi-identity. Your uniqueness is not just accepted but celebrated here.

Since 2015, we've been igniting a quiet revolution in educational institutions nationwide, thanks to the passion and support of Student Government Associations. Together, we're laying the foundation for LGBTQ inclusion and empowerment on campus. We're thrilled to announce the expansion of our Campus Connect campaign! Starting with POP-UP Shops in New York and South Florida colleges, we're bringing essential resources to marginalized students, fostering belonging and empowerment along the way.

During the first quarter of 2024, Out My Closet surged ahead, organizing 8 POP-UP Shops and hosting two Empowerment Queer Men’s Groups across New York City and South Florida. By backing LGBTQ homeless and transitional shelters, as well as feeding programs, Out My Closet remained steadfast in its commitment to aiding the most vulnerable in our communities. Expanding its range of services, Out My Closet also arranged TWO TDOV POP-UP Shops, extending support to marginalized transgender women of color.

Out My Closet has reached new heights, breaking records and making waves in our mission to support our unhoused and under-resourced LGBTQ+ people. 34 Pop-Up Shops later, we're ecstatic to share that we've achieved a remarkable 50% increase in service! This means more lives saved, more opportunities created, and a stronger impact on the community we hold dear.

OMC’S “EMPOWERMENT” monthly social support groups for queer men offers a vital lifeline in reducing the isolation and alienation. Our groups provide a safe and empathetic environment where individuals can openly share their experiences, emotions, and fears without judgment on a spectrum on many issues and entails fun filled engaging activities.

This fall season has proven to be exceptionally impactful for Out My Closet (OMC), as we remained steadfast in our commitment to providing crucial, life-sustaining resources to our unhoused and under-resourced LGBTQ+ clients.

OMC conducts monthly social engagement mixers to assemble, educate and elevate our MSM (men who have sex with men) community. Our intent is to address health and mental health and offer fun-filled activities that promote authentic camaraderie and relationship building.

It's Back to School Season in South Florida and Out My Closet was there to offer our support to the under-resourced communities of Miami. We supported Lotus House, a family shelter, with a Back To School sneaker giveaway in Overtown and marginalized families in North Miami at a community block party, a total of 1,000 sneakers given away.

OMC’s Queer Men's Empowerment groups, enroll social activities that are intentional to combat isolation, empower and motivate by association with a goal of reducing internalized HIV stigma by building camaraderie whilst educating about HIV and dismantling HIV stigma.
