"PRIDE INSIDE" - Out My Closet's annual PRIDE POP-UP SHOP event - celebrated diversity, inclusion, and empowerment within the LGBTQ+ community!

We created an event that provided an unparalleled experience of celebration and dignity for our under-resourced and unhoused LGBTQ+ clients.

PRIDE INSIDE wasn't just a pop-up shop; it was an immersive experience designed to empower and enrich the lives of our most vulnerable clients. Clients had the chance to "shop" for high-quality clothing, accessories, cosmetics, and personal hygiene products that suited their style, size, and gender identity. Thanks to our generous partner and lead sponsor, Aritzia, for donating all new clothing items!

The event also featured high-energy drag entertainers, Pietra Parker and Fonda Koxx, live DJ Eric Abobo, and a snack bar, adding to the festive atmosphere. This year, we expanded PRIDE INSIDE to serve even more clients in a larger venue at the New York City LGBTQ Center and successfully served over a hundred clients.

PRIDE INSIDE was a testament to our commitment to the LGBTQ+ community, offering a celebration that emphasized dignity, empowerment, and inclusion.
